The second annual Shop4Siloam social media event is set to help feed families in need this Easter.
ICUC Moderation Services is sponsoring the event on Thursday, April 21.
Food and cash donations will be accepted between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm at the Real Canadian Superstore at 80 Bison Drive.
The donation drive will be live-tweeted by @ICUC and @SiloamMission using the hashtag #Shop4Siloam.
In anticipation for Easter, the Mission needs 20 hams, 200 lbs of potatoes, 30 kg of frozen mixed vegetables, 50 cans of apple sauce, 700 individual bread rolls, and trifle.

Siloam Mission is in need of wooden or plastic chairs.
Blair Barkley said, “We are running out of chairs for people to sit and eat during meals.”
Donations to Siloam Mission can be dropped off at 300 Princess Street.
