Hike the Dyke
$10 plus admission
Join an interpreter for a guided hike to the lesser seen parts of the marsh. Proper walking footwear, clothing and water are a must, along with the ability to walk a far distance. Tthere are no facilities (benches, washrooms, shade) along the outer trails.

Father's Day Waterbug Derby
Win prizes for the highest score and most unique bugs caught. Bring dad to the Café for a special lunch from noon to 2 p.m. Explore in a horse-drawn wagon from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.

National Aboriginal Day - Participate in Aboriginal games, learn the importance of many marsh plants and taste some of during a special plant walk through the marsh.

A Bird in the Hand
$20 per person. Please register ahead to secure your place.
Participate in a real live songbird banding session at the marsh, followed by a canoe excursion or a guided birding walk.

Summer Bird Census
Call 467-3300 to register before June 25. The Census helps determine which birds nest at the marsh and improves observation skills. A lunch will be served and prizes awarded.
