Manitoba Underdogs Rescue is struggling to pay mounting veterinary bills after taking in 13 stray dogs from remote northern communities. The organization that rescues hungry and freezing dogs is facing vet bills topping $8,000.

It’s heartbreaking. We bring these dogs in from the cold and you cross your fingers that they’re going to be okay. Sometimes all they need is a bit of TLC, but sadly sometimes they’re very, very sick. But you can’t say no. You just can’t. Without us they would freeze or starve, and we just can’t leave them to die alone. Thank you to everyone for your support! - MUR Executive Director Jessica Hansen

Donations are now being accepted at Southglen Veterinary Hospital, 730 St. Anne's Road or by calling 204-452-0077, and on the Manitoba Underdogs Website.  You can donate online

How the Other Half Loves written by Alan Ayckbourn
Directed by Jessina Cheffins

featuring: Tim Webster, Anita Daher, Kevin P. Gabel,
Jennifer Clary-Lemon, Rob Kwade and Dianna Rasing

The early 1970’s comedy is driven by a common theme: adultery. The adulterers try to maintain the secrecy of their infidelities by using a third couple as a cover.  There are suspicions and there is the lack of suspicion, where what is obvious to the audience is not even noticed by the cuckold.
The play has a single set, which represents two separate, but superimposed, living rooms. The action of the play takes place in both houses simultaneously… what fun!

Dilla Day Winnipeg is a memorial to the life and legacy of producer/rapper/musician J Dilla.
With Super Duty Tough Work acting as an 8-piece live MPC, Dilla Day Winnipeg sees some of the city's best MCs and musicians performing Dilla classics, backed by the SDTW band.

James "Dilla" Yancey is one of hip hop's most far-reaching influencers.  In 2006, as the result of a blood disorder, JD passed. His legacy has lived on through his music, countless unreleased projects and collaborations, a colossal record collection, the J Dilla Foundation (which focuses on funding lupus research) and the family-owned Yancey Media Group.
