The Shoal Lake aqueduct is a major artery piping drinking water to Winnipeg. Its history speaks to a dirty truth for Kekekoziibii, the Shoal Lake 40 First Nation that was displaced, isolated and robbed of its own drinking water. February 19-April 15, Wednesdays from 5:30 pm-8:30 pm 

The Creative Writing Group Youth Mentorship Program introduces participants to the writing process, storytelling and publishing as well as offering an introduction to Manitoba’s literary community. Participants will publish a group anthology and give a reading of their work at the end of the 8 sessions. This program is free for qualifying youth and is open to youth ages 16-19 living in or within 100 km of Winnipeg. 
Deadline for applying is December 13.

All libraries will be closed on November 11, December 25, 26 and January 1.

Santa at the Marsh - have your picture taken with Santa as you tell him your wish list. Bannock will also be available. Take in games and activities. Bundle up to hop on our horse-drawn wagon for a scenic ride ($3 for members and $6 for non-members).
