July 18, 7:00 pm
St. Andrews River Heights United Church, 255 Oak Street
Admission by donation
Heather Kozak will be giving a goodbye concert.
She was recently accepted to the highly competitive, internationally-acclaimed
Glenn Gould School in Toronto and awarded a two-year scholarship worth $80,000.
The St. Vital resident will be accompanied by Cary Denby at SARHUC.
As Heather has been involved with SARHUC's various choirs for many years, all proceeds will be donated to the church's shelter project, Siloam Mission and Save Our Seine.
Heather is also a mezzo-soprano who sang O Canada at Canstar Day at the Races at Assiniboia Downs on July 1.
She also won the Rose Bowl for top senior vocalist at the Winnipeg Music Festival in 2006, and performed in The Sound of Music at Rainbow Stage in 2007.
