Moving Matter: Tyndall Stone in the City
At less than 150 years old, Winnipeg's architecture is young. Yet, throughout this city and province, countless buildings are constructed of Tyndall Stone, the mottled, fossil-rich limestone formed 450 million years ago.
Join architectural historian Abigail Auld for a FREE 90-minute tour exploring several Tyndall Stone buildings downtown. Fully accessible for wheelchairs, strollers and bicycles.

Housing prices are skyrocketing. Incomes are not. PUSH sheds light on a new kind of faceless landlord, our increasingly unliveable cities and an escalating crisis. This is not gentrification. The film follows Leilani Farha, the UN Special Rapporteur on Adequate Housing, as she  tries to understand who’s being pushed out, and why.
Directed by Fredrik Gertten / 92 minutes / fully wheelchair accessible theatre

Each night begins with a walking tour through the mysterious history of the Seven Oaks neighbourhood led by Matthew Komus, author of Haunted Winnipeg, followed by a tour of Seven Oaks House to hear about the paranormal activity that has occurred inside.
Rumoured to be Winnipeg's oldest haunted house, the mysterious occurrences around Seven Oaks are tied up in one of the darkest chapters of our city's history.
Those brave enough will return to explore Seven Oaks House by candlelight, and hear about the paranormal activity at the museum.
