This fundraiser features artworks by over 150 artists,
some of Winnipeg's biggest artists alongside up-and-comers! There is art
for all tastes and budgets. Add cupcakes and stellar raffle baskets,
and you have one of the most anticipated cultural events of the spring.
Over
the Top Art Auction and Cupcake Party enables MAWA to provide
professional, engaging visual art programming, such as our Mentorship
Programs, Critical Discussion Groups, Skills-Based Workshops, Artist
Lectures and Cross-Cultural Craft Program. Many of these programs are
filled, and bring together people from many different backgrounds.

are 6 steps in the building when you enter from Cumberland (buzz 77 for
entry) and an accessible entrance with a ramp when you enter from the
east parking lot. MAWA can be accessed by 20 steps. A freight elevator
is located at the back of the building (30 paces from the ramp entrance
and 65 paces from the front entrance). Call us at 204-949-9490 for
assistance. MAWA's space is 15 paces from the elevator.
MAWA
washrooms are not accessible. We will open an accessible washroom on the
ground floor. All are single occupancy and gender neutral.
MAWA opens 30 minutes before each program is due to begin. ASL interpretation is available for programs with 2 weeks notice.

Dr. Koop is professor of history and theology at Canadian Mennonite University. He received his PhD from St. Michael’s College in the Toronto School of Theology. He has also taught at Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminaries, served in Brandenberg and Berlin with Mennonite Central Committee, and was a pastor in St. Catharines, Ontario. His publications include Anabaptist-Mennonite Confessions of Faith: The Development of a Tradition, and he is co-editor of Vision: A Journal for Church and Theology.

Dumpling Fest
Experience different restaurants and tastes that may include Filipino lumpia, Italian gnochi, Japanese gyoza, Mexican empanadas, Nepalese momos and more.
Each restaurant will be serving up Tasting Plates for guests to enjoy and you will have a chance to visit a variety of different types of restaurants throughout the dinner event.
