SMUT SLAM

You know what a poetry slam is. 

Now it’s time for Winnipeg’s first-ever SMUT SLAM, a fast-paced night of storytelling based on real life, real lust, real sex.

Doors open at 6:30 pm

the slam starts at 7:00 pm 

Admission is $7 at the door, or $5 for students 18 and over!

The theme for this SMUT SLAM is, naturally, “Fringe...” 

It's a perfect, perverse kick-off to your Winnipeg Fringe!

SMUT SLAMMERS sign up on the night to tell a 5-minute piece, based on Fringe hook-ups, experiences out on the edge, fringe on a scarf... 

and a lucky eight to ten names will be drawn. 

There will be a team of judges.

At intermission, slammers and audience alike have the opportunity to challenge Cameryn Moore in a lightning-fast IRON SMUT ROUND (participants receive two words or phrases and then must use those in a two-minute smut fictional narratives).

SMUT SLAM host Cameryn Moore is the award-winning creator and performer of Phone Whore and a new one-woman show slut (r)evolution. 

In addition to writing and performing, Cameryn is a comedian, sex educator, and phone sex operator. Cameryn blogs about her “day job”. 

Co-host Heather Witherden is Winnipeg's favourite wisecracking Mom. 

After a titillating 2010 Fringe debut (Breast Friends, Tazzy's Angels), she's returning to Tazzy's Angels 2011 at the Gas Station Theatre. 

Heather is also the popular comic MC of Moonlight Madness Burlesque, bringing a cheekiness and wit that has the audience gasping for air.
