Me Made March is all about challenging yourself to wear a handmade wardrobe.
The purpose is to promote learning a new craft, moving towards a more sustainable
way of dressing and to consider supporting one of our own local fashion designers.
Whether you go head to toe handmade or just challenge yourself to wear one
handmade item a day, is totally up to you!

aceartinc.: Homemaking - Chantal Mierau
March 1 - April 5
Opening Reception March 1
Artist Talk March 9, 2 pm
Ms Mierau has demonstrated flair and thoughtful engagement with the themes of work, families, and the Mennonite religion. Her videos and performances amuse, unsettle, and provoke questions about what it is to exist, and to seek meaning. Homemaking is a video installation that weaves together imagery from weekly chores and insect lifecycles.
Ms Mierau is available to give interviews in French and English.
