1st ANNUAL WINNIPEG IMPROV SOUP KITCHEN!

We don't have a dedicated improv theatre, or an umbrella company to keep us connected, so what better way to bring the entire community together than with a potluck!
This event is open to those that have improvised once, twice, or a billion times over.

1. Ask yourself: "Have I done improv before?"
If the answer is YES, then we want to see you, meet you, and eat with you!

2. Bring $2.00 and a snack or an appetizer to share.
Include an ingredient list with your food. No alcohol, please.

3. There will be soup! Bring a bowl & a spoon. We will provide napkins and cups.

The Improv Soup Kitchen is not a show. It's not a workshop, or a presentation. It is a chance to see just how big our community is, and put names to faces and faces to food!

Please RSVP

Jazz Winnipeg presents: Nu Sounds Series
March 17, 8:00 pm until 10:30 pm
The Park Theatre, 698 Osborne Street

Guitarist Keith Price assembles two jazz quartets to perform a new score to the classic Spaghetti Western The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. Inspired by Miles Davis’ electric period (Bitches Brew, On The Corner), Price has composed a new jazz-fusion score to accompany scenes from the movie that will projected on the screen on stage.

Joining Keith on stage will be Neil Watson on saxophone, William Bonness and Jeff Presslaff on keyboards, Marty Theissen on electric bass, Julian Bradford on acoustic bass, Curtis Nowosad on drums and Scott Senor on percussion.

Advance tickets are $12, or by phone at 204-989-4656 or
in person at the Jazz Winnipeg office, 007-100 Arthur St. and the Park Theatre
