Ingrid Gatin w/ Twin Voices l Connie Kaldor l Amero, Indian City and CWEED

The West End Cultural Centre presents:

Ingrid Gatin “1000 Lives” Album Release Concert
April 10 Doors 7:15 pm | Show 8:00 pm
Tickets: $12 advance | $17 door
Montreal folk-loop specialists Twin Voices open the show.

Ingrid Gatin and Twin Voice create indie-folk magic on-stage.

Ingrid’s new full-length album, 1000 Lives, was created with Grammy-nominated engineer/producer Howard Bilerman (Arcade Fire, Basia Bulat, The Dears) between a loft and a church in Winnipeg and Howard’s studio in Montréal.
Twin Voices' lead member Laura Beach crafts a lovely sound with imagery that draws on a life lived between small towns and cityscapes. Live-looping of violin, voice and guitar make for a performance that is equal parts stunning simplicity and playful complexity.

An Evening with Connie Kaldor
April 13 Doors 7:15 pm | Show 8:00 pm
Tickets: $22 advance | $27 door
Canadian folk songstress and queen of the prairies, Connie Kaldor returns to perform music from her latest album “Postcards from the Road”.
Connie is a Juno Award-winning singer who has flourished on the folk music scene for over two decades, yet her repertoire of original material blurs musical boundaries, embracing elements of gospel, rock, country and western, folk, blue grass and adult contemporary. She has recorded nine albums, sold tens of thousands of copies, but has never had a commercial hit.  Her live performances are legendary.
Tickets available now at the West End Cultural Centre, Ticketmaster,
Winnipeg Folk Festival Music Store and Music Trader
