For almost ninety years Polish folk dance has existed in Winnipeg. This display explores this history from the 1920s until today, through photos, programs, memorabilia, and homemade costumes. With the sounds of folk music resonating throughout the exhibit, you will be able to learn dance steps, see what influenced local folk culture, experience quick costume changes backstage and understand the passion shared by Polish dancers around the world.
