The Scotiabank AIDS Walk for Life is a national awareness and fundraising event to support direct programs and services for Canadians living with HIV/AIDS in their communities.

As many as 71,300 people are living with HIV/AIDS in Canada. There is no cure and no vaccines to prevent new infections.

Enjoy entertainment, refreshments and a 2K stroll around the West End to support Manitobans living with HIV. All money raised here, stays in Manitoba.

Guests will be lead towards the Livery Barn, where traditional Russian Mennonite cuisine will be served.  This barn is reminiscent of the livery barns that were typical ‘rest stops’ for pioneers.  Be sure to arrive early to make a day out of it and visit the rest of the village (admission fees apply), home of the fully operational windmill.
