GRASS ROUTES - Intersections

This is the 5th annual Grass Routes Sustainability Festival. This year, we’re contemplating INTERSECTIONS. We’re thinking about the streets, the art, the politics, the design, the communities, the bustle that make up Winnipeg- and where they meet. Join us to create and explore the intersections of our city.

Dowland in Dublin
Hosted by Camerata Nova -  Tickets

An Evening of Lute Songs in an Irish Pub!

Camerata Nova joins international star tenor Michael Slattery and La Nef, an early music group from Montréal, in a creative concert based on the music of Renaissance composer John Dowland. With great skill, charm and integrity, La Nef has arranged Dowland’s music in Celtic style, as it would have been played in an Irish Pub in the early 1600s.

For Dowland in Dublin, La Nef features Sylvain Bergeron (lute and arrangements),
Alex Kehler (violin), Amanda Keesmaat, as well as Seán Dagher (cittern and arrangements)
and Grégoire Jeay (flute and recorders).
