Duck and Run  - preregister
5 and 10 kilometre run / 2 kilometre family walk
After trekking the trails, celebrate with a healthy snack, family friendly activities and more. Make a day of it at the marsh!
August 15 - 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Hike the Dyke
Join an interpreter for a guided hike. This hike will be through rough terrain - tall plants, insects and other obstacles. Proper walking footwear, clothing and water are a must, along with the ability to walk a far distance. There are no facilities along the outer trails. Fee: $10 plus admission
August 16 - 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Wild Edibles Workshop
Learn about the edible varieties of wetland plants on this hiking adventure through the marsh. Taste some delicious samples and learn harvesting and preparation tips.
Pre-registration is required. Fee: $10 plus admission

Dragonfly Festival
Learn more about these fascinating creatures.
Equipped with a net, join a Dragonfly Safari. Learn about dragonflies with our displays and presentations or participate in our Dragonfly Food Art Contest and our Colouring Contest to win a prize.

Northlane have returned with new single ‘Rot’, their first release with new frontman Marcus Bridge.  With guests: Like Moths to Flames, In Hearts Wake, and Oceans Ate Alaska.  

‘Rot’ was written and recorded by Marcus, guitarists Jon Deiley and Josh Smith, bassist Alex Milovic and drummer Nic Pettersen.  Fuelled by the critical and popular acclaim for 2013 sophomore album Singularity, Northlane toured the world twice over 18 months before coming home for a victorious sell-out tour. The album received glowing reviews, ARIA Award nominations, and awards.

This event will be recorded, and selections may air as part of a radio broadcast or podcast.
Do you still have any of your childhood or teenage writing? 
An open-mic evening of book reports, poetry, diary entries, letters from camp, etc. — all read out loud by adults to a room full of strangers.

Air Plants Workshop
Air plants are so fun looking and can live without soil because they gather water and nutrients from the air through their leaves.  Join us in making a hanging air plant display with our florist! 
This is a make-and-take workshop. $65 per person; all materials included.
