Culture Days Manitoba

A Celebration of the Arts!
The Second Annual Culture Days will take place Sept 30 to Oct 2.

Everyone is welcome ... join the movement today!

Culture Days is a collaborative pan-Canadian volunteer movement to raise the awareness, accessibility, participation and engagement of all Canadians in the arts and cultural life of their communities.

The first annual Culture Days weekend was held in September 2010. More than 24,000 Manitobans participated in over 160 free arts and culture activities across the province!

Canada-wide Culture Days events feature free, hands-on, interactive activities that invite the public to participate “behind the scenes,” to discover the arts in their community.

If you have a free participatory or interactive arts or cultural activity to offer to the public during Culture Days - be it new or something you already have planned - register today!
In support of your events, we drive large-scale, multi-layered, annual, national communications and public relations campaign.

  1. Hello Margaret,

Thanks very much for keeping such a great blog on the happenings in Winnipeg - especially the arts beat! I was wondering if you would be willing to post about the upcoming play Theatre by the River is doing. It's a great piece of Canadian political satire - just the sort of thing to help give the election some perspective.

You can find details here http://www.theatrebytheriver.com/plays.php

    Very best,
    Matthew

  2. Hi, Matthew,
Happy to post about your production. We just retuned from vacation. Please, everyone, send me info about a month in advance so I can give it more exposure.
    Thanks,
    Margaret
