On December 5, 2011, the Minister of Conservation requested that the Clean Environment Commission hold a public hearing on Manitoba Hydro's proposed
Bipole III transmission line project.
The Commission Panel for Bipole III invites individuals and groups to become
Participants in the hearing process.
The deadline for applications is NOON, APRIL 16, 2012.
Funding is also available to potential Participants to assist with preparation of their submissions.
Register to be a Participant, download a funding application package and become familiar with the Process Guidelines which outline the responsibilities of a Participant.

The Clean Environment Commission is established to provide an avenue through which the public can participate in the decision making process regarding the environment in Manitoba.
The Commission also provides advice and recommendations to the Conservation Minister with respect to environmental issues and licensing.
Commission membership includes a full-time Chairperson and part-time Commissioners who come from a wide variety of backgrounds and disciplines as well as different regions of the province.
