Winnipeg’s 8th Annual Transgender Day of Remembrance (WTDOR) serves as an opportunity to recognize, honour, embrace, celebrate, and remember the people who encounter or endure discrimination, prejudice, persecution, isolation, or violence because of their [perceived] gender identity and/or expression.

TDOR is also about raising awareness, educating, and advocating for the rights and recognition of individuals who identify as trans, transgender, transsexual, genderqueer, gendre-free, and any variation of/from/beyond these.
