Advanced beginner skills and pre-cutting of fabric is required.

We will be covering machine formats, types of machine embroidery, choosing the right stabilizer for your project, marking placement, proper hooping techniques, etc.  If time permits, students will each do a sample stitch out either in fill stitch or machine appliqué.

Teacher - Geesje Baron
Seminole patchwork is a form of quilting by cutting various strip widths from different coloured fabrics, then sewing these strips together to form a long band, and then cut units from these bands. By using various layouts, sew them into a new pattern.
