Explore nature opportunities with Bill Stillwell, author of the award winning nature book Manitoba Wild.
Pre-registration required.
Workshop fee is $5 plus admission.

Learn how to attract birds and bats to you backyard.
Take in one of our programs such as a film or a guided walk through the marsh.
Sign up for our Bluebird house building workshop on Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m.
Help out our feathered friends by building your very own birdhouse.

Fee is $15 per bluebird box.
Pre-register early. There is a limited number of houses available.

Astronomy Night - Telescopes
April 18, 8 p.m.

Learn the differences between telescopes and find out what best suits your needs.
A presentation by Gerry Smerchanski , followed by a stargazing session.

Earth Day Celebration
April 21

Presentations that will demonstrate activities promoting a green lifestyle.
Learn about composting as well as vermicompost.
See how red wiggler worms can turn food scraps into rich compost at 11 a.m.
A special presentation at 1 p.m. on How to make your own homemade cleaners.
Recipes for making green cleaning products that are easy, affordable, and eco-friendly!

Flowers & Feathers Spring Tea
April 25, 1 p.m.

Sample a variety of delicious teas and treats in the unique setting of the Café overlooking the marsh.  Our Feathered Fashion Show will get you acquainted with the winged wildlife returning to the marsh.  Play Wildflower Bingo while you learn the many species of flowers that call the marsh home.
