3rd Annual Candy Cane Tea
December 12, 1 to 3 p.m.
$10 per person.
Pre-registration is required.

Today, a formal afternoon tea is taken as a treat in a hotel, café or tea shop.
Bring some friends and enjoy a selection of specialty Holiday teas and coffees along with fancy sandwiches and dainties.

The 113th annual Christmas Bird Count
December 15, 7:45 a.m.
Pre-registration required by December 12.
The fee is regular admission to the Centre.

This huge conservation effort monitors the status and distribution of bird populations across the continent and contributes to a clearer picture of how the bird populations have changed.  Come help us count, while exploring the marsh and surrounding area.

Astronomy Night - Winter Constellations
December 20, 7 p.m.

An indoor presentation in our multimedia theatre will introduce you to the many constellations that will grace our sky this winter. Learn how to recognize these constellations in the night sky through entertaining stories and with the help of your very own hand-made star finder.

Following the presentation, test your skills on the Interpretive Centre rooftop observation deck while you look at those amazing constellations!

Kid's Nature Craft Club
December 22, 1 p.m.
Most appropriate for children ages 5 to 10. Pre-registration is recommended.
Workshop fee is $5 plus admission.

The theme is snow. Learn all about snow and make a beautiful snow gauge to take home.
Be the first to find out how much snow we receive this winter.

For ages 6 to 9.  Runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.

Activities may include snowshoeing, bannock baking, winter games and more.
