Put your hectic holiday happenings aside as the WJO gets in the Glenn Miller mood playing seasonal classics. The holiday radio broadcasts of the singing trio backed by the Miller orchestra were among the most treasured memories of the wartime years. Prepare to swing around the holiday table with fine arrangements and soaring harmonies.
Single tickets are $32.50 (adults)/$15 (students) - include the GST.

February 17 - “A Night at the Rex” with trumpeter John MacLeod
Some of the most classic big band arrangements by John and other Canadian artists.
March 24 - “1001 Arabian Jazz Nights” with Danish pianist/big band leader and Grammy winner Nikolai Bentzon.
The WJO will also explore other exotic classics such as Slide Hampton’s “Go East, Young Man” along with some of the Duke’s Far East Suite.
May 12 - “King of Swing” with clarinetist Ken Peplowski
Mel Torme said, Since the advent of Benny Goodman there have been too few clarinettists to fill the void that Goodman left. Ken Peplowski is most certainly one of those few.
