Joanne Maxwell's Calendar & Patti Grayson

November 20, 2:00 pm - Grant Park in the Atrium

Psst...Did You Know? is a calendar for all seasons, spiced with a little humour and
some life-lessons to reflect on. It is a treasure of one-liners and you might just hear
yourself saying: “My Mother used to say that!”

Any profits will go to the Laura Milner White Foundation in support of
Winnipeg Inner-City school programs and activities.

Joanne Morgan Maxwell is a lifetime Winnipeg resident.

Autumn, One Spring

Autumn Greene returns to her hometown, uninvited, to her sister Christine’s wedding.
A world-weary working single mom, Autumn reveals all of Christine’s secrets and brings about a near-nuclear explosion of emotion and confusion among the family and wedding party. Forgiveness emerges as the biggest challenge.

Patti Grayson’s short fiction collection, Core Samples, garnered nominations for the John Hirsch Award for Most Promising Manitoba Writer and the Eileen McTavish Sykes Award for Best First Book.
Patti has worked as a school librarian, advertising copywriter, puppeteer, and actor.
