Hugh Skinner will give an expert look at alternatives to the “chemical stew” to keep your lawn and garden healthy.
Gardening Naturally: A Chemical Free Handbook for the Prairies contains the tools to make it possible, with comprehensive, understandable, workable practices.
Hugh Skinner received a B.S.A. (Horticulture) from the University of Manitoba prior to returning to manage the family nursery. In 2002 he received the Prairie Garden Award for Excellence. He is currently the Vice President of the Manitoba Horticultural Association.

Sid Robinovitch’s music has been featured by groups such as the Elmer Iseler Singers, the Vancouver Chamber Choir, the Canadian Piano Trio, and the Winnipeg, Toronto, and Louisville Symphony Orchestras. His topic for this evening is “Musical Roots.”
His works have been frequently broadcast on CBC radio. He has also written music for film and TV, including the theme for the satirical comedy series, The Newsroom.
