from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm, at the Winnipeg Convention Centre, 375 York Avenue.
There will be a Grand Entry at 5:30 pm.

Keeping the Fires Burning recognizes and celebrates the important contributions that First Nations, Inuit and Métis Elder women have made in the protection, preservation and promotion of First Peoples’ cultures.

Oscar Lathlin Memorial Award
This honour is in recognition of the inspirational leadership provided by the late Honourable Oscar Lathlin. He acknowledged the traditional role of women as being integral to healthy families and communities.
The 3rd Annual Oscar Lathlin Memorial Award will be presented at the dinner.
This award is presented to a First Nations, Inuit or Métis woman, between the ages of 18 and 60, who resides in Manitoba, and who has demonstrated leadership in living her traditional teachings.
