On Wednesday, March 9, from 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm, three authors, relatively early in their careers, talk about how they got to their present stage. All began their publishing lives in a less than ideal climate. Find out how they got started, how they work now and where they hope to go next.
CANSCAIP's March meeting will take place at The Northern District Library, Second Floor, 40 Orchard View Boulevard (Just north of Yonge & Eglinton), in Toronto, ON.
Rebecca Bender is the author and illustrator of Giraffe and Bird (Dancing Cat Books).
Hélène Boudreau is the author of three novels and four non-fiction books. Her most recent is Real Mermaids Don't Wear Toe Rings.
Jennifer Maruno has just published Warbird, her second work of historical fiction; she has also authored textbooks and educational materials.
