Make. Stop. Repeat.

MCC'S annual jurried exhibition Make. Stop. Repeat.
Opening reception Thursday, June 23, 7:00 pm
Mennonite Heritage Gallery, 600 Shaftesbury Blvd., South of Grant, on the campus of the Canadian Mennonite University

MCC member Karen Schlichting will be unveiling her newly completed piece,
Gretel’s Oven, at the opening reception.
Come and enjoy some hand-built pizzas hot out of the mobile wood-fired oven.
Craft, crust and crumb converge as Karen shares her brick, concrete and glass creation.
She Makes it, you Stop and eat it, and Repeat.

Exhibition runs to September 3 at 5:00 pm

The Manitoba Craft Council invites you to ruminate on, brood over, and ponder the idea and practice of repetition, accumulation, and multiples as it relates to craft, but also more broadly.
Spanning an array of media and techniques, every piece in this exhibition speaks to the theme in unique and sometimes surprising ways.

Featuring work by PJ Anderson, Kathleen Black, Teresa Burrows, Curtis DeMeyer,
Joy Eidse, Ingrid Lincoln, Shawna Munro, Kay Nemeth, Crystal Nykoluk, Evelin Richter, Rebecca Robinson, Elizabeth Roy, Marilyn Stewart Stothers, Sue Sutherland, and Lin Xu.
