SKATE4CANCER: The Cure is Knowledge
June 12 at the Plaza Skatepark at the Forks
THIS IS A FREE EVENT!!
The bands start at noon
The skateboard competition starts at 2:00 pm
ALL AGES are welcome & encouraged to come down and join in the fun!
Bands include: The Ripperz, Waster (Formerly FAME), Take Me To The Pilot, The All Night, A Broken Summer, Living in Red, Danger Cat, The Vibrating Beds, The Angry Dragons, Forever I, A Waste Odyssey, Adam Hanney, Jon Smith, Greg Rekus, Jared Kist, Derek Zacharias, Dan Collins.
The skate contest will have divisions for all ages and genders.
There will be prizes for division winners and TONS of product tosses and giveaways!
ROB DYER will be on hand to chat with everyone and give out some education about cancer prevention and early detection techniques.
There will be a 'Preparty' the night before at the Pyramid Cabaret with DJ CO OP & DJ HUNNICUTT, Josh Martinez, Evil Ebenezer, Pip Skid!
