Cassian is the one and only zulu-synth warrior. His weapon of choice was originally a Fender battle-axe. You would often see him wielding a Strat or a Tele at band venues around Sydney. This progressed to the use of decks and a mixer, which led to studio work which led him to his new weapon of choice, the synthesizer.
The "Cassian" project was launched in 2009 with a remix for Damn Arms "magnum opus" Destination. By the end of 2009 Cassian had completed remixes for Miami Horror (EMI), Bag Raiders (Mod/BG12s), Empire of the Sun (EMI), Classixx (Kitsune), Swick (Sweat it Out) and Telonius (Gomma).
The title track from his EP Friday Night was slotted straight into full rotation on Triple J and will also be heard on the 2010 Ministry of Sound Clubbers Guide.
