If you’ve ever wondered what Winnipeg has to offer in terms of Rock music and young musicians, Ready or Not Showcases has the answer to both.
Ready or Not Showcases is a new, self-run initiative put together by Randi and Ricki Bushie-James. The mission statement is to put together a show that showcases young Winnipeg bands new to the music scene.
All members of the three bands on the bill are under the age of 20, with the youngest member being 15 years old.
Playing the show will be Of Unsound Minds, Thursdays Forecast, and Cruel Society.
Of Unsound Minds is a 5 piece hard rock and metal band and consists of 16 year olds Niko Lalopoulou and Jacob Thomas; 17 year olds Preston Peters and Jordan L, and 19 year old Jordan Fontaine. They give their 100 percent every single performance.
Thursday’s Forecast is a 4 piece Indie Punk band which consists of 16 year old Austin Reid, 17 year olds Mai-Lee Ritchot and Sean Lassel, and 19 year old Ryan Vandale. With a sense of adventure and a never-quit attitude, Thursday’s Forecast is guaranteed to put on the best show possible.
Cruel Society is a 5 piece Hard Rock Alternative band. consisting of 15 year old Rain M,
16 year olds Randi B-James and Myron Cowley, and 17 year olds Jordan Lilley and Ricki
B-James. Never failing to wow audiences with their talent and drive, Cruel Society is definitely a band to look out for in the future.
