When Robert Turner passed away this year not only did he leave behind a vast community deeply touched by his contributions and support, he also left behind an exceptional body of work. This evening celebrates the release of the latest album designed to showcase his rich legacy.
Instrumental Works contains one chamber and three orchestral works. Performers include the Toronto Symphony Orchestra; the Cassenti Players of Vancouver; the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra; and the CBC Vancouver Chamber Orchestra.
This night also serves to launch Dr. Peter Letkemann’s memorial website.

Richard Gwyn is widely known as a commentator for the Toronto Star and as a frequent contributor to television and radio programs. His book, Nationalism Without Walls: The Unbearable Lightness of Being Canadian, was selected by The Literary Review of Canada as one of the 100 most important books published in Canada.
