North End Love Songs

North End Love Songs recounts a quest for love in all the wrong places; the kind of love that doesn’t always talk nice, sometimes drinks way too much, smokes when it shouldn’t and winds up in bed with people it barely knows or trusts. 

Katherena Vermette is a Métis writer. Her work has appeared in several literary publications. Vermette is a coordinator of the Aboriginal Writers Collective of Manitoba, and currently completing her Master of Fine Arts (UBC). 

Rosanna Deerchild is Cree. Her first book, this is a small northern town won the AquaBooks Lansdowne Prize for Poetry in 2009 and was nominated for the ReLit Award. 

Clarise Foster is the Editor of CV2, and the author of two collections of poetry.
