Dennis Rietze will hold a powerpoint presentation about the
National Model Railroad Association Thousand Lakes Region's 2012 Convention,
which was held during the Victoria Day weekend in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Dennis Rietze is the Superintendent of the #1 Northern Division
of the Thousand Lakes Region of the NMRA.
This is a great way to see what a Winnipeg Model Railroad Club meeting
and what a National Model Railroad Association National Convention are like!

And did I mention that you can attend for free!!!
The #1 Northern Division of the Thousand Lakes Region of the NMRA will have
a display table where they will be taking new memberships.
Membership is required to attend their upcoming division meet at
Whyte Ridge Baptist Church on November 3.
You can get a full year's membership for $30.
Or you can get a temporary "rail pass" for only $10, which entitles you to
all the benefits and privileges of NMRA membership for 6 months,
including a 6 month subscription to the NMRA magazine, The Fusee.

The Winnipeg Model Railroad Club will be taking memberships.
The annual fee for a regular member is $30.
The annual fee for a junior member (under 18) is $10.
This will entitle you to a year's subscription to their publication,
The Lantern, in which you'll learn about upcoming events, and library privileges.
Or an additional membership can be bought for someone in the same household
as a regular member (no Lantern) for $1.
They're always happy to welcome new members!!
