Anrea Zaslov / Diabetes: Is Resistance Futile?

March 8, 7:30 pm in the Travel Alcove
Diabetes Unscripted: The Caregiver Diaries

Diabetes Unscripted is about real life caregivers who share their stories about caring for someone living with type I and type II diabetes.

Zaslov became interested in this work after her own family’s experience with type II diabetes. The idea was to create a caregivers’ companion, a book for them to turn to for the support that comes from reading the stories of others engaged in similar situations.

Anrea Zaslov is a graduate from the University of Winnipeg and attended the Creative Communications program at Red River College majoring in journalism.  Anrea brings all of her education and work experience together in her first book.
