Decoys, Stars, Birds & Spring Break at Oak Hammock

The Oak Hammock Marsh Interpretive Centre is located 20 minutes north of Winnipeg
on highway 67 between highways #7 and #8.
For more information call 467-3300.

March 11, 18 and 25 - 9 am to 4 pm

Learn to carve your own Redhead decoy from award winning carvers
Harry Williams, John Frye and Ross Gage.

The head and tail will be carved from white pine; the body from a special watertight bonded cork. The decoy will be fitted with glass eyes, a ballasted keel and painted.
It is designed to float on the often rough water of Manitoba lakes.

There will also be a session to learn about Redhead biology and hunting tips.
Coffee and light snacks will be provided.
Bring your own bag lunch or enjoy eating in the Oak Hammock Cafe.

Cost is $70 for Oak Hammock members and $85 for non-members.

For more information about this workshop call (204) 467-3300
