Anti-Semitic and Anti-Islamic/Muslim hate incidences and rhetoric are on the rise in Canada.  There is a proliferation of web-based hate sites targeting our respective communities and faiths.  These phenomena endanger the safety of our families and the peace of our communities.

Topics include:
Islamophobia and Anti-Semitism in Canada
Historical perspectives
Personal reflections
Impact of hate and working through hate
Conversation cafés with participants
Textual analysis of both Jewish and Muslim scripture
Information from experts on hate groups operating in Canada and around the world
Role playing and scenario training

Objective: To build bridges of solidarity and understanding based on accurate
information, between Manitoban Jews and Muslims to combat Anti-Semitism and Islamophobia proactively through collaboration and cooperation.
