English 3120, Practicum in Literacy, Language and Literacy at the University of Winnipeg is fundraising to support the publication of Volume 2 of The Past is Another Country.

The first volume, published in 2011, represents the writing of New Canadians
who were members of Finding Your Voice (FYV), a program which develops writing
and English-language skills through story making and conversation circles.

The collection has been distributed freely locally and nationally.
It represents the experiences of writers from China, Ethiopia, India, Kenya, Korea, Macedonia, Nigeria, the Philippines, Poland, Taiwan, and Uzbekistan.
