Bear Witness and Jackson 2Bears coalesce their distinct practices of DJ culture and VJ artistry into dynamic mixed media presentations of sound art, sculpture and video installation.

Jackson 2bears is a Kanien’kehaka (Mohawk) multimedia artist based in Victoria, BC. He has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions across Canada and internationally.
2bears is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Victoria.
Bear Witness is a Cayuga media artist, DJ and film editor based in Ottawa, ON. Bear explores stereotypical representations of Aboriginal people in North American media and popular culture, re-editing these images to create new narratives representing his experiences as an urban Aboriginal artist.
