The Winnipeg Humane Society is stuffed with cats, in particulary tabbies and torties.
From October 15 – 17 The WHS is offering adult cats (6 months and older) for only $25. This includes spay and neuter surgery, microchip, tattoo, first vaccination, de-worming, two-week health check and 6-weeks of Pet Plan Insurance.
The WHS asks the public to come and adopt one of the 260 cats being sheltered. “There is no room left at the Inn,” said Bill McDonald, WHS CEO. “We are in another crunch where we need to find space to keep accepting cats. We have over 430 in our care – many in foster homes, simply because we are too full.”
As a result of the high numbers of cats at the shelter, The WHS is in urgent need of wet cat food and foster homes to care for litters of moms and kittens.

We need to make mixed breed dogs more than just Heinze 57s or Mutts.
Are they K9 Fusions? Manitodoggies? Huggamutts?
