As owner of Goldrock Press, Meyer has also published various books by authors whom she has mentored. Dorene has won several awards; she won the Romance book of the year award at the 2011 Canadian Christian Writing Awards in Toronto for her novel, Jasmine. Dorene is an instructor in Norway House.
