Winnipeg Humane Society Needs Votes / Has Class

Please vote tomorrow, Feb 24, in HOT 103's Best in Beard contest.
Steve Adams is growing his beard all in the name of animals and if he wins, he will donate $1,000 to The Winnipeg Humane Society!
Remember to vote for him between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm.
To vote for Steve, text "Steve" to 103103 or use BBM.

We had a very successful Used Book and Movie Sale over the weekend but still have some hardcover books and movies left.

Happy reading everyone!

The next sessions start this Sunday (Feb. 27).
There's still space in both the 9:00 am and 10:30 am classes.

The WHS offers year-round obedience classes focused on positive-reinforcement.

The classes are six weeks in length, with a new session starting every five weeks.
Sessions take place on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, are 55 minutes in length, and cost only $125.
A $25 cancellation fee applies.
No refunds if cancellation occurs two weeks or less before classes start.

Call 982-2035 to register.

This program is ideal for children to learn more about safety with pets, explore pet care and responsible pet ownership, share ideas, activities and stories.
Children experience hands-on encounters with shelter pets.

Sessions meet for four Saturdays per session from 10:00 am to 12 noon.
Registration is open for our next group of sessions:
Saturday March 5, 12, 19 and 26, 2011.

Both pre-registration and a fee of $32 are required.

Call 982-2046 for details and registration.
